**Library Services Officer x 10**
**Duration: 8 months**
**Pay Rate: $44.10/hour + Super**
**ACT Canberra Location**
This position promotes and delivers services on site at our public library branches. It is the first point of contact for customers and focusses on providing excellent high-level customer service to the Canberra community.
- Demonstrated high quality customer service skills
- Demonstrated ability to be adaptive in emergency response situation as well as being able to manage conflict resolution
- Skills and experience in using and promoting current and emerging technologies.
**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Act as first point of contact in the libraries and provide excellent, pro-active customer service.
- Take ownership of the end-to-end customer service and resolution of customer queries and complaints.
- Ability to take leadership role in safety critical and evacuation situations
- Promote services and deliver programs as well as informing customers of library resources and community services and programs relevant to their needs.
- Actively contribute to continuous improvement, community engagement and lifelong learning initiatives.
What we are looking for:
- Full working rights in Australia
- This position does require a Working with Vulnerable People Check.
- This position is required to work evening and weekend shifts.
- Relevant work experience in an environment such as retail, hospitality or experience managing public spaces would be desirable
