About the Role: As the Community Education Counsellor (Identified), your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: Responsibilities include, but not limited to; * Provide support services to ensure that the best possible assistance / services are available to Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander children, students, families and Communities. * Monitor student attendance and retention - data monitoring, phone calls home, home visits, student check-ins. * Maintain One School documentation and records management. * Assist students to overcome barriers with school engagement. * Participate in Enrolment, Re-entry, and Exclusion meetings where applicable. * Participate in the planning of activities to enhance student involvement in education. * Develop and deliver lunch-time activities as part of a proactive student wellbeing program. * Establish and maintain links with out of school sources of information and support services.
