Therapeutic Care Specialist
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Therapeutic Care Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will provide direct support, care, and mentorship to children and young people living in Intensive Therapeutic Care homes across Cooranbong.
The individuals we support have experienced childhood trauma, abuse, or neglect and may have mental health, physical, or psychosocial disabilities. As a Therapeutic Care Specialist, you will be responsible for creating a safe and supportive environment that fosters growth and development.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Provide individualized care and support to children and young people with complex needs.
2. Develop and implement personalized care plans that meet the unique needs of each individual.
3. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive support and services are provided.
4. Engage in regular communication with families and carers to build strong relationships and promote positive outcomes.
Requirements:
1. A Diploma in Community Services or related field (or current enrolment).
2. A current Provide First Aid certificate.
3. An Australian Driver's Licence.
