About The Role
As a Payroll Enablement Expert, you will be a key member of the Core Payroll team, supporting the execution of payroll enablement activities, including monitoring Australia pay-impacting changes (external and internal sources), providing payroll system advice, delivering payroll fixes and enhancements, and managing related change activities.
The role involves collaboration with Technology, Finance, and Initiative Delivery teams. Responsibilities include:
1. Identifying and defining payroll change requirements
2. Managing delivery of payroll-related fixes and enhancements, change management, and risk mitigation
3. Performing release testing on new technology (SuccessFactors Employee Central, Employee Central Payroll, RAMCO)
4. Updating payroll procedure guides and process workbooks
5. Contributing to bank-wide payroll initiatives
6. Supporting Payroll/Finance activities including change management, issue investigation, and reconciliation
Role Details
Type: 9 months Fixed-term contract (possible extension)
Location: Preference for Melbourne; open to other Australian locations
Hours: Full-time, 40 hours/week
Key Responsibilities

* Delivering changes, fixes, and enhancements
* Contributing technical expertise to payroll initiatives
* Ensuring compliance with Australian regulatory and legislative changes
Candidate Profile
Ideal candidates will have:
* Strong technical knowledge of payroll systems and Australian payroll regulations
* Experience in financial services payroll environments, including risk and change management
* Test management experience, understanding business requirements for payroll testing
* Experience with complex HR/Payroll programs
* Ability to liaise effectively with technical and non-technical teams
* Regional knowledge and leadership skills
