Blaster / Painters
UGL Industrials & Resources East are seeking applicants from experienced Blasters and trade qualified Painters for casual outage / shutdown work in the Kingaroy / Nanango region. Previous experience in an outage / shutdown on a heavy industrial environment will be highly regarded.
About you
* To be considered for the role the following qualifications will be highly regarded:
* Cert III in Engineering – Fabrication Trade (Surface Preparation and Finishing) - desirable
* Cert III in Surface Preparation and Coating Applications – desirable
* Demonstrated experience as an Industrial Blaster
* High Risk Work Licence – WP – preferred but not essential
* High Risk Work Licence – LF – preferred but not essential
* Confined Space Certification – valid within 3 years - mandatory
* Gas Test Atmospheres Certification – valid within 3 years – preferred but not essential
* Work at Heights Certification – valid within 3 years - mandatory
* Drivers Licence – preferred
* Construction Industry Induction (white / blue card) - preferred
* High levels of attention to detail
* Excellent communication skills
* Great time management skills
* The ability to work within a team and unsupervised
