Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and confident Night Manager to lead the hotel during overnight operations in a part-time capacity. This is a pivotal leadership position responsible for ensuring the smooth running of the property while maintaining exceptional guest service, operational control and safety standards.
As the senior leader on shift, you will oversee the hotel’s overnight operations and ensure seamless performance by:
* Overseeing all overnight hotel operations to maintain service excellence and operational efficiency
* Leading and supporting the night team while fostering a professional and positive work environment
* Managing guest enquiries, feedback and escalations with confidence and care
* Completing the night audit process, ensuring accurate financial reconciliation and reporting
* Conducting regular property checks to uphold safety and security standards
* Responding effectively to emergency situations and operational issues as they arise
* Preparing daily reports and handover documentation for senior leadership
Qualifications
* Previous experience in a Night Manager or senior Front Office role
* Strong numerical and analytical capability with high attention to detail
* Sound commercial awareness and confident decision-making skills
* Calm and solutions-focused approach in high-pressure situations
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Proven ability to lead independently and take ownership of operations
* Familiarity with Opera Cloud or similar hotel management systems will be highly regarded
* Flexibility to work overnight shifts, weekends and public holidays
