We are seeking an ICT Technical Engineer IBM ISVA and WebSphere to share the responsibility for the design, operation, and continuous improvement of core ICT platforms. What You’ll Do
Manage and maintain ICT platform landscapes, including installation, configuration, deployment, and technical security.Support project build, testing, and deployment activities.Configure and manage non‑functional capabilities such as scheduling, archiving, email, connectivity, and output management.Oversee patching, backups, high availability, and disaster recovery databases and manage data archiving.Lead problem management, root‑cause analysis, and technical change management.Collaborate with internal teams and third‑party suppliers to ensure robust infrastructure.Prepare technical documentation and mentor less‑experienced colleagues.Drive innovation, continuous improvement, and alignment with ICT strategy.

Additional desirable capabilities include
Integration testing, understanding of Services Australia environments, and experience with PPC+ and Essential 8 uplift activities.Expertise in SOA, governance frameworks, service registries, MQ Manager.Strong knowledge of integration technologies, OAuth/OIDC, SAML 2.0, MFA, MQ, ACE, WAS.Ability to write and troubleshoot Java, JavaScript, Python, Ansible, XML, XSLT.Strong organisational skills and ability to meet tight deadlines.
