We are looking for a Lending Specialist to provide phone-based support and assistance to our customers with all their lending enquiries and applications. You’ll work individually but also as part of a wider team, where you will be supported by your peers and leaders. What you will be doing Assists customers and prospective members with all home loan and lending enquiries across multiple channels Record and manage sales pipeline activity and actively follow up on future opportunities and referrals Preparation, ordering valuations and completing credit checks as well as funding credits and unsecured overdrafts Support the Contact Centre Lending team to achieve Lending Sales, Service and operational outcomes Actively cross-sell products and services and undertake retention activities for customers across the portfolio of products Monitor, analyse and report on key business metrics for the team Deliver a high level of service to members through inbound and outbound call handling What you will bring Demonstrated end-to-end lending and sales experience Solid understanding of lending and credit principles Excellent time management skills with the ability to manage a fast-moving lending pipeline Strong stakeholder management skills with a customer-centric attitude Commitment to Bank Australia’s purpose, aspiration, values and brand as well as the B Corp ethos By submitting an application, you agree to Bank Australia’s Privacy Policy for applicants and confirm that you are legally able to work in Australia.
