An exciting chance exists within our Sales & Events team for a talented and seasoned Event Manager based in Brisbane. Reporting directly to the Head of Sales & Events QLD, the Event Manager will be responsible for sales and event coordination across venues in the Fresh portfolio in Brisbane, as well an offsite capacity.
You will build excellent relationships with clients, while working in partnership with other departments to deliver exceptional event experiences and budgeted revenues.
**About you**
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role with a luxury hotel, hospitality group or catering company
- Great relationship building skills
- A dynamic and passionate attitude towards food & beverage
- Exceptional time management & communication skills
- Sound organisational and computer skills - Priava experience is desirable
- High attention to detail with the ability to multi-task/manage multiple events
- Ability to make calculated decisions, in line with company policies & procedures
- Exceptional personal presentation
- Outgoing personality with strong sales and negotiation skills
- Enjoy adapting to a fast paced, project focused setting
- Proactive and innovative approach to potential clients
- Tertiary qualifications are desirable
