Up to $28.62 p.h. + Super + Penalty rates. We are actively seeking a Cook on a casual basis, delivering high-quality meals and service to our residents at Mountain View Retirement Village, Murwillumbah.
The Opportunity
Mountain View Retirement Village is a vibrant community set on 28 acres in Tweed Valley, offering a rural feel with the benefit of only being 3.5 km to the Murwillumbah town centre. As a motivated Cook working with our team, you will work in a fast-paced environment to prepare and deliver high-quality meals to residents. You will be a great communicator, enjoy hands-on kitchen preparation, and support residents\' well-being. This is a casual role, covering leave or providing extra support; availability on Mondays and Tuesdays is preferred.

Your Will
- Provide restaurant-style kitchen and dining service
- Assist in the daily kitchen preparation and serving of meals
- Ensure daily quality meal service to residents and visitors of the surrounding Aveo Community
- Daily monitoring of food safety plans and following all Food Services procedures
What you\'ll bring
- Knowledge and/or experience in catering/kitchen/hospitality settings (e.g., experience in food preparation)
- Food Safety Certificate OR Certificate III in Commercial Cookery (desirable)
- A friendly and warm persona with a passion for food and chatting with residents
- Current Police check (required, but we can complete for you)
- Minimum of two (2) COVID-19 Vaccinations (required)
