We have an exciting opening for a Service Desk Advisor to join our team. This is an ongoing part time role - 16 hours per week, 0.4 FTE based in our Geelong Head Office + hybrid work options for our team.
**About the role**
Within this role, you'll be part of our Service Desk Team who provide first point of contact for all GMHBA Limited users who require support with technical incidents, service requests, technical questions and IT related problems.
Your day to day responsibilities will include:
- Resolving of problems, queries and service requests from users of all departments within agreed time lines. Prepare thorough, accurate and descriptive documentation of all Service Desk issues and resolutions, and Escalate complex issues to Level 2 (Workplace Support/ CS Support) or Level 3 IT Support or Third Party as required.
- Triage, respond to and resolve all enquiries in a timely manner.
- Assist with the creation of government submissions and reports
- Adhere to best practices regarding network security.
**About you**
- VCE or equivalent.
- ITIL Foundations Certification
- Experience in a fast-paced service environment and a sound customer service ethic.
- Experience with core business systems - Active Directory, Exchange mailbox management, Server and Desktop Operating Systems
- Inquisitive, thorough and pays great attention to detail
- Initiative, trouble-shooting and problem-solving skills
Highly desirable
- COMPTIA Certificate
- Knowledge of the Private Health Insurance industry
