Role
Support high level procurements and business activities involving tenders and contracts undertaken by the Unit and for clients within the Department of Health.
Investigate, establish and monitor Agency contracts and pursue opportunities to establish new or more effective contract arrangements.
Support the Strategic Manager in the development and management of the Unit's procurement activities.
Responsibilities
Support strategic procurement, tenders and contracts across Health, monitoring agreements and assisting the Manager to improve procurement outcomes.
Qualifications
* Extensive knowledge and understanding of contemporary procurement practices and requirements, with the ability to interpret and apply Treasury instructions and other policies and protocols associated with procurement.
* Demonstrated high‐level effective communication, interpersonal and consultancy skills together with the capacity to operate effectively in an environment of competing interest groups and stakeholders.
* Demonstrated ability to provide high‐level advice on procurement related matters to Agency staff.
Salary
$107,899 to $122,292 per annum (plus 12% superannuation contribution).
