Description
This vacancy may be filled as a Casual, Permanent or Fixed Term appointment, with the possibility of extension(s) and/or permanency, at various hours.
Position Profile
In collaboration with the Manager – Wheatbelt Aboriginal Health Service and Health Promotion Officers, community representatives and key stakeholders, assists in the planning, implementation and evaluation of health promotion programs for Aboriginal people in the Wheatbelt region.
This position has a focus on promoting awareness of risks associated with smoking and reducing other lifestyle risk factors that contribute to preventable chronic disease in Aboriginal people within the Wheatbelt.
The occupant of this position is required to demonstrate a positive commitment to modelling our organisational values, safety and quality improvement and the Code of Conduct in all aspects of their employment. Compliance with all relevant policies, procedures, standards and legislation including Confidentiality and Work Health and Safety policies is mandatory.
