About the Role – 18 hours per month

Mandatory Requirements
* A primary medical qualification registrable with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
* Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (FRACS) (Orthopaedics) or other postgraduate clinical training, qualifications and experience in General Surgery assessed by the College as suitable for this position
* A Mandatory Working with Children check is required for this role.
* This Position Description will be reviewed on an annual basis in keeping with changing requirements.
* A Valid Police check

* Demonstrate procedural knowledge and technical skill at a level appropriate to their level of experience
* Demonstrate manual dexterity required to carry out procedures
* Adapt their skills in the context of each patient-each procedure

* Approach and carry out procedures with due attention to safety of patient, self, and others
* Analyse their own clinical performance for continuous improvement
