Overview
The Short Stay Surgical Unit is a fast paced, dynamic unit providing access to elective surgeries and emergency cases. The team delivers efficient, quality care and works within the CARE values of the organisation.
You will need
* Be able to work under pressure, whilst still providing safe, quality patient care.
* Be an involved and active member of the team and be able to work in a collaborative environment.
* Have a broad knowledge of surgical specialties; surgical nursing skills are desirable.

Details of appointment
Permanent, part-time, shift worker (fully rotational) position, working 16 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as you would like to join our team.
Hours are negotiable with the successful applicant.
Applicants should note that for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar vacancies.
Salary
Salary: $78,179 to $105,995 per annum (Pro rata). Employer 12% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.
Salary range is in accordance with the Nurses and Midwives (Tasmania State Service) Agreement 2023. Access to the Grade 4 salary range $99,455–$105,995 is subject to progression to Grade 4.
In addition, allowances calculated on the salaried incremental point may be available:
* Post Graduate Allowance of up to 10% based on qualification type

Eligibility

* Registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia as a Registered Nurse
