Based in Sydney, we are a large, independent College with a proud history dating back to the early 1900s. Our vibrant campus spans across two schools and supports more than 2000 students. We are seeking to appoint a talented ICT Support Officer with strong troubleshooting skills and experience across both Windows and Mac environments. This role offers not only immediate impact but also great progression opportunities into areas such as Mac support, Apple systems administration, cybersecurity, and digital project delivery.

WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?
As the IT Support Engineer, you will be the first point of contact for IT-related issues across the College community. Your responsibilities will include:
* Delivering Level 1–2 ICT troubleshooting and helpdesk support to staff and students
* Logging, prioritising, and managing phone, email, and web-based queries through the Service Desk system
* Escalating unresolved issues to senior IT staff when required
* Assisting with device and software set-up for staff and students
* Providing training and guidance on digital platforms and learning resources
* Monitoring, updating, and maintaining College systems to ensure uptime, security, and performance reliability
* Supporting College-wide ICT projects and contributing to process improvements

* Proficiency across a range of ICT technologies and digital platforms
* Experience with Mac OS
* Familiarity with JAMF Pro and Apple School Manager
* Microsoft 365
* Active Directory
* Solid troubleshooting skills with a customer-focused approach
* Basic knowledge of networking concepts
* Strong communication skills (written and verbal) with attention to detail
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team
* Knowledge of Google Workspace (GSuite)
* Exposure to School Management Systems
* Understanding of cybersecurity concepts and SOE deployment methods
* Previous experience working in an education or school environment
