Cordina Foods Pty Ltd is one of Australia’s leading names in the food manufacturing industry, known for delivering high-quality, ready-to-cook products to major retailers across the country.
We are seeking an experienced Quality Manager to lead our Wyong Plant QA/QC team. This is a key leadership role responsible for ensuring food safety, quality compliance, and continuous improvement across the site.
🔧 About the Role
As the Quality Manager, you will:
- Lead and manage the site’s QA/QC functions to meet HACCP, GMP, FSANZ, regulatory and customer standards
- Oversee internal, third-party, and customer audits, ensuring site readiness and compliance
- Manage and improve the Quality Management System (QMS)
- Drive food safety programs, document control, traceability, and customer specification portals
- Investigate and resolve non-conformances and customer complaints with effective corrective actions
- Monitor and report on quality metrics, identifying trends and opportunities for improvement
- Develop and deliver training in food safety, HACCP, and GMP to foster a strong quality culture
- Lead, coach, and mentor the QA/QC team to build capability and accountability
✅ What We’re Looking For
- Degree in Food Science, Microbiology, or related discipline
- 7–10 years’ experience in food manufacturing quality assurance, including at least 3 years in management
- Strong knowledge of HACCP, GMP, ISO standards, and regulatory compliance
- Proven track record in managing audits (internal, external, and customer)
- Demonstrated leadership and team development skills
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and influencing skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a rapid-paced environment
