At PwC every big idea starts with someone willing to ask ‘what if?’ In the Optimise – Outsourced Finance team at PwC, your expertise will help shape smarter, more efficient financial operations that empower organisations to thrive. As an Associate, you’ll play a vital role in delivering high-quality bookkeeping services that drive agility and cost-effectiveness, working with clients across Australian businesses, global organisations, and not-for-profits.

Join a global community of more than 370,000 people who value bold ideas, collaboration, and lasting change. Together, we’re building trust and shaping the future.

What you’ll do:

- Deliver high-quality bookkeeping services using Xero’s full functionality, including accounts payable, payroll, reporting, custom templates, and activity statements.

- Ensure accuracy in high-volume transaction processing, end-of-month functions, and reconciliations to provide trusted financial information.

- Help clients maintain financial security by adhering to legal requirements and Australian compliance standards while identifying opportunities to streamline processes and improve efficiency.

What we’re looking for:

- Proficiency in Xero and its applications relating to accounts payable, payroll, and reporting.

- Broad understanding of Australian reporting and compliance obligations for businesses and not-for-profits.

- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in managing transaction processing and reconciliations.

- Ability to identify and implement process improvements using new technologies to enhance efficiency.

What you’ll gain:

- The opportunity to work with leading organisations and cutting-edge technology that challenge and expand your expertise.

- Flexibility means trusting you to choose when, where, and how you work—balancing what’s best for you, your team, and your clients to grow and thrive together.

- Clear paths for career progression supported by continuous learning and leadership development.

- Generous leave entitlements including four weeks’ annual leave and float public holidays to support your work-life balance.

- A world-class parental leave policy offering up to 26 weeks of leave for caregivers, supporting your family and personal life.
