About the role:
We are seeking a vibrant, experienced and organised bookkeeper who is a proactive thinker with strong attention to detail. You will work in our office with a team of bookkeepers and closely collaborate with our business and tax advisory teams. You will have access to a large and varied client base, assisting business owners with their bookkeeping and payroll requirements.
Responsibilities:
* Manage weekly, fortnightly, and monthly payroll, ensuring compliance with all obligations.
* Handle accounts receivable and payable.
* Perform various financial reconciliations.
* Prepare BAS statements.
* Generate weekly or monthly reports as required by clients and accountants.
Ideal Candidate:
* Experienced in payroll and bookkeeping, including MYOB, Xero and QuickBooks.
* Proficient with Microsoft Office.
* Effective time management skills, ensuring accuracy and meeting daily deadlines.
* Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with clients and staff.
* Maintain a professional appearance, as our staff represent a trusted and professional business image.
* Australian citizenship or permanent work rights with no restrictions is required for this position
