THE ROLE
Applications are sought from experienced Trade Assistants to join the team at Ora Banda.
Responsibilities
* General housekeeping of tools and work area, including workshop and maintenance vehicles
* Assist in storing maintenance equipment and supplies
* Perform trades assistant tasks, including using mechanical and electrical equipment, machinery and hand tools
* Transport tools, materials, and work equipment to and from the workplace or workbenches as required
* Maintain work records and stock inventory as required
* Assist tradespersons as and when required
* Other duties that may arise on a day-to‐day basis
ABOUT YOU
To be considered for the role, you will have the following qualifications, skills and experience:
* Previous experience as a General Hand, Handyman or Trades Assistant
* Manual driver's licence
* Previous experience in mining is highly desirable
* Experience in a maintenance environment and working with hand tools and mobile equipment
* Front end loader and forklift competency certificates are desirable
* Enter confined spaces, Working at heights, Gas Test Atmosphere, current first aid desirable
