St Lawrence's Primary School is seeking a passionate and experienced Student Learning Support Coordinator to lead inclusive education initiatives commencing in 2026. This role supports students with disabilities, EAL/D learners, and those requiring case management, ensuring equitable access to quality education in accordance with the Disability Discrimination Act 1992, the Disability Standards for Education 2005, and Catholic Education WA policies.
Responsibilities
* Coordinating support for students with disabilities and EAL/D learners
* Leading the development and review of Individual Education Plans (IEPs)
* Managing and submitting funding applications for students with disabilities (SWD), Nationally Consistent Collection of Data (NCCD), and English as an Additional Language or Dialect (E/ALD)
* Liaising with teaching staff and leadership to ensure accurate data collection and reporting for funding purposes
* Understanding CEWA and government funding guidelines related to SWD, NCCD, and EALD
* Coordinating case management and liaising with families and external agencies
* Providing professional development and promoting inclusive practices
* Demonstrating pedagogical skills with a flexible, collaborative, and student-centred approach
* Possessing a sound knowledge of the Western Australian Curriculum
* Exhibiting highly developed interpersonal and communication skills
* Designing a flexible and adaptive teaching/learning program that includes differentiated instruction and explicit teaching
* Working cooperatively and collaboratively with a willingness to participate in reflective practice
Qualifications
* Have or be willing to obtain the necessary accreditation requirements
* Have a current TRBWA Registration and a current Working with Children Card
