Permanent Part-Time Payroll Officer in Sydney

Established within the construction industry with many trusted clients, this company is an asset to any new infrastructure projects. They are seeking a permanent part-time Payroll Officer who is passionate about payroll - you MUST have construction experience.
Your new role
In this standalone role, you will:
* Process end-to-end payroll for a small-medium workforce across different entities on various pay cycles
* Set up new employees, process terminations and redundancy payments, process timesheets and calculate super, payroll tax, etc.
* Complete reconciliation and relevant checks, ensure
* Interpret complex Awards, EBAs, various rates and allowances.
* Advise on relevant legislation and payroll requirements for new projects
What you'll need to succeed
* Payroll experience within the construction industry is a MUST!
* Demonstrated experience in payroll processing, standalone payroll is a advantageous!
* Able to work part-time and commit to a permanent role
* Exposure to major payroll systems is beneficial
* Experience with complex EBAs, rates, Awards and various allowances
* Great communication skills to discuss relevant payroll issues with stakeholders at all levels of the business
* Excellent attention to detail is needed in this role
* Eager to learn and be autonomous
