Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Endorsed Enrolled Nurse to join our team at the KAW Older Adults Mental Health Unit Bundoora. This role requires providing high-quality nursing care to patients in the least restrictive environment, ensuring patient awareness of their rights and responsibilities, and collaborating with families/carers.
* Providing strong assessment, problem-solving, and critical skills
* Monitoring mental and physical health care needs of patients
This role requires registration as a medication endorsed enrolled nurse under the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation National Law Act (2009) with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia. A current National Police Check is also mandatory.
* Demonstrated experience working in acute mental health settings
* Demonstrated experience in providing nursing care reflective of the recovery model of care in mental health
