About the role:
We are currently seeking Chemistry students to work within the Waste Management Industry on a contract position across the summer holidays (December to Feb/March). The position is located in the southern suburbs of Perth. Ideally you will be in your second or final year of University and have had exposure to wet chemistry techniques.
Monday - Fri, Full-time hours over December to end of February/March.
Your responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
- Preparation of samples (manual handling required - up to 20kg).
- Basic wet chemistry testing
- Calibrating Laboratory instruments
- General housekeeping.
Skills & experience:
To be successful in this position you will be studying a Bachelor of Chemistry or related discipline. It's a great opportunity for you to put into practice everything you have learned at University.
You will be a quality-focused individual with excellent attention to detail, have positive communication skills and have a can-do attitude. You must be passionate, show drive and initiative.
This position is to start ASAP and to work over the summer break.
