About the Role
Due to exciting new business growth, Comstar Systems has a position available for a Trainee Technical Officer to work with our Hobart Team. This fantastic opportunity allows you to learn while you earn. You will be supported by a team of the best operators in the Telecommunications Industry, as you embark on this amazing career journey.
As a Trainee Technical Officer you will assist in the installation and commissioning of communications projects.
Under supervision you will operate in a technical environment and assist in the installation, testing and maintenance of telecommunication equipment.
What we are looking for
* An understanding of the general concepts of mechanical/electrical engineering
* The ability to obtain a certification in Telecommunications Technology
* Competent in the safe use of hand tools
* Ability to work in diverse and technically challenging fields
* A positive attitude and eagerness to learn
