Join Sound NSW, a division within the Department of Creative Industries, Tourism, Hospitality and Sport Clerk Grade 11/12 with a salary range of $149,739 - $173,174 Temporary opportunity until 1 August 2027 based in Sydney, NSW About the role The Senior Manager, Operations and Governance (Sound) leads and contributes to executive operations, governance and compliance processes to support the implementation of the NSW Contemporary Music Strategy and a suite of policies and projects aimed to support the growth and development of contemporary music in NSW. Working collaboratively with stakeholders from within the music industry and across government, the role is responsible for delivering exceptional executive, operational and administrative services, strategic projects and ensuring compliance with policies and legislation. The role works closely with the Head of Sound NSW to shape and implement processes and ways of working that deliver strategic and operational priorities, while anticipating and responding to opportunities, challenges and deadlines. About You The ideal candidate should demonstrate the following key knowledge and experience: Strong practical knowledge of the workings of government and its processes. Extensive and successful experience in leading major program, project and / or change management initiatives within a large and complex environment. Stakeholder management expertise and experience navigating through government processes combined with strong leadership skills and the ability to drive performance in complex, politically and commercially sensitive environment.
