Mauri is establishing a new flour mill in Ballarat with cutting-edge milling technology.
* This role involves ensuring the quality department operates efficiently and effectively, adhering to internal standards, customer requirements, and regulatory obligations.
* Key qualifications include a degree in Food Technology, Science, Microbiology, Quality Assurance, Manufacturing, or a related field, along with a minimum of 2 years' experience in a Quality position within food manufacturing.
* The ideal candidate will possess expertise in HACCP, GMP, and GFSI standards (FSSC 22000, BRCGS, SQF), as well as knowledge of Halal and Kosher certifications.
This role encompasses various aspects of GFSI & Customer Food Safety & Quality requirements, including HACCP validation activities, internal audit programs, allergen management, cleaning & hygiene, pest control, and product quality monitoring.
The successful candidate will have excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to influence and build relationships across teams.
