**Your New Role**
Our client is looking to add a Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineer with RPEQ to their team on the Gold Coast. This role, which reports into the Engineering Manager, is responsible for the mechanical design sign off and will see you working on projects of full automation solutions for the production team to build from. You will have experience with the full design flow; You must therefore be detailed and organised as you will be working on several projects at any one time. You will:
- **Manage and oversee project design**:
- **Support and mentor junior team members**:
- **Check and manage the quality of work in progress**:
- **Actively participate in design concept reviews and **model** reviews**
**About You**
You will be dynamic and passionate in your area of expertise. Your high communication skills will allow you to build positive working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders. You will also possess the following technical skills and personal attributes:
- **Degree in either Mechanical or Mechatronic Engineering\**:
- **Must be RPEQ**:
- **Experience in **machine** design**:
- **Experience with engineering design, preferably in the FMCG industry**:
- **Knowledge** of mechanical, **pneumatic** and hydraulic systems**:
- **High level proficiency in MS**:
- **Quality and productivity focused**:
- **High communication and leaderships skills**
