Job Description
RSR Consulting Bakers Delight Cooleman Court is seeking an experienced Baker to join its production team. The role involves preparing, baking and presenting a wide range of bakery products in accordance with established recipes and production schedules, ensuring consistency, freshness and quality. Benefits Competitive salary package of AUD 75,000 - 80,000 plus superannuation Full-time stable employment Opportunity to work within a recognised national bakery brand Supportive and team-oriented work environment Task & responsibilities Prepare and bake a wide range of bread, rolls and bakery products following standard recipes Measure, mix, knead and shape dough to required specifications Operate and monitor bakery equipment including mixers, dividers, moulders, provers and ovens Control proving processes by monitoring temperature and humidity levels Bake products ensuring correct timing, temperature and quality standards Apply finishing techniques including glazing and icing where required Plan and manage daily production schedules to meet customer demand Monitor stock levels, order ingredients and ensure proper storage of raw materials Inspect ingredients and finished products to ensure quality and freshness Maintain cleanliness of work areas and equipment in line with food safety standards Ensure compliance with Food Safety Program (FSP) and Occupational Health and Safety requirements Train and support junior bakery staff and contribute to team operations Qualification & experience Certificate III in Baking (or equivalent qualification) At least 2–3 years of relevant full-time work experience Strong knowledge of baking techniques, dough preparation and oven operation Experience in a fast-paced bakery or food production environment Ability to work early mornings, weekends and public holidays Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
