-- Supervise staff to ensure the safe and correct completion of warehouse processes-- Resource planning and rostering to meet quality and cost targets-- Prepare reporting on inventory and supplies levels of stock and create orders according to demand requirements-- Deliver training to staff, or supervision of training delivered by direct reports to staff, and ensure all training is documented according to business standards-- Manage performance of staff and develop performance improvement plans for staff, along with development plans for staff-- Manage the performance of suppliers for terminal handling associated processes-- Manage compliance to procedures and company, safety, security and regulatory requirementsKey Responsibilities:-- Warehouse process quality, system accuracy and customer response-- Warehouse staff management and development-- Inventory management, stock control-- Cost management, forecasting and budgeting-- Safety, security and regulatory compliance-- Equipment maintenance-- Supplier service performance supervision (identifying and reacting to day to day service performance issues)Requirements:-- 3 years' of warehouse management experience, preferably within airline, transportation or logistics industry.-- Excellent communication skills in English, spoken and written-- Strong leader with focus on developing others-- Builds and maintains strong professional relationships-- Pronounced ability to use own initiative and high level of motivation-- Quick comprehension and analytical approach-- Very good communication skills and strong social competence combined with a "can do" approach-- High level of independence and ability to set priorities-- Certificate level in process management, health and safety or supply chain management preferred
