About the role

As QA Manager, you will provide strategic leadership and delivery ownership for quality assurance across our SaaS platform. You will lead the QA function to ensure MVSI delivers highly reliable, bug‐free software that customers can trust for critical compliance operations. Quality is not optional in our domain, it is fundamental to customer confidence, regulatory outcomes, and business success. You will build a strong balance of automated and manual testing practices, ensuring speed, coverage, and real‐world validation across every release. This role is ideal for a QA leader who thrives in Agile/Scrum environments, builds high‐performing teams, and drives quality as an enabler of business outcomes. You will work closely with Engineering, Product, and senior stakeholders to uplift quality practices, strengthen automation maturity, and embed excellence into every sprint and release.

Strategic QA Leadership

* Own and evolve MVSI's QA strategy across automation, performance, security, and release quality
* Establish quality as a core pillar of engineering culture and SaaS delivery
* Define scalable test frameworks, governance, and quality metrics

Automated + Manual Testing Excellence

* Drive a strong combination of automation‐first execution and high‐value exploratory/manual testing
* Ensure test coverage reflects both technical regression needs and real customer workflows
* Continuously improve automation maturity integrated into CI/CD pipelines

Delivery and Scrum Management

* Lead QA execution within sprint cycles: planning, execution, retrospectives, continuous improvement
* Ensure test readiness, release confidence, and predictable delivery outcomes
* Identify quality risks, bottlenecks, and systemic issues early and act decisively

People Leadership & Development

* Lead, mentor, and grow a distributed QA team across multiple regions
* Build strong career pathways, coaching, performance development, and succession planning
* Foster a high‐performance culture grounded in trust, accountability, and wellbeing

Engineering Excellence & Collaboration

* Partner closely with Software Engineering, DevOps, and Product teams to embed quality early
* Drive best practices in test automation, CI/CD integration, and shift‐left testing
* Ensure consistent standards across functional, regression, integration, and non‐functional testing

Continuous Improvement

* Improve tooling, automation coverage, and test execution efficiency
* Champion quality innovation, modern QA practices, and operational excellence
* Support incident learning loops and reliability improvements aligned to SaaS maturity

Required Qualifications

* Proven experience leading QA teams in a commercial SaaS environment (essential)
* Strong leadership background with demonstrated people development success
* Deep experience in Agile delivery (Scrum/Kanban) and sprint‐based execution
* Track record of delivering high‐quality, customer‐facing software products
* Expertise across both automated and manual testing approaches
* Ability to align QA priorities with business strategy and delivery objectives
* Strong stakeholder communication and cross‐functional collaboration skills
* Experience driving predictable release outcomes in cloud‐based platforms

Nice to Have

* Experience in FinTech, RegTech, or other regulated environments
* Familiarity with AWS‐based SaaS architectures and DevOps pipelines
* Knowledge of security testing, performance testing, and SRE‐aligned reliability practices
* Interest in AI/LLM‐enabled testing and emerging QA innovation

Work Schedule

* Monday to Friday 6AM-3PM; Manila Time

Work Setup (WFH)

* Permanent Homebased
* Candidate must have a conducive workspace (quite and distraction free)
* Equipment will be provided by the company
* Hired staff is required to have a stable and reliable internet connection with at least 20MBPS for both download AND upload speed.
