Showscreens is a leading provider of outside broadcasting, LED display video screens, outside broadcasting and production for trade shows, outdoor and indoor events and concerts. We are seeking a professional Audio and Visual Technician in a full time position that will be based in Perth, WA.
Responsibilities
* Provide technical input and direction to develop a pre-event plan together with the Project Managers, site supervisors and sales staff to deliver clients' vision for the clients' events.
* Testing equipment at the warehouse before deployment to event premise.
* Installing equipment according to clients' approved set up designs, and ensuring compliance with Project Managers' schedules.
* Ensuring installed equipment fit its purpose and are set up in line with the approved event plan.
* Ensuring safety of event premise with regard to equipment placement, use and operation, including briefing clients and team members as to any potential issues.
* Dismantling equipment in line with Project Managers' schedules.
* Conducting regular inspections of all equipment, diagnosing faults and undertaking maintenance / replacements of parts as required.
* Advising Management as to any equipment upgrades / technological advances available in the market.
Job Requirements
* Work experience in the relevant field for minimum of 2 years.
* At least have a relevant Diploma qualification.
* Have a strong knowledge and skill set in managing various events.
* Have a strong skills of communication and coordination with various clients and vendors.
* Have a robust leadership and ability to work on a large scale of a team.
* Able to work weekends roster.
Job Types: Full time, Permanent
Pay: $65,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
Schedule: Monday to Friday. Weekend availability
Work Location: In person
