About the role Reporting to the CEO, this mission critical senior leadership position is responsible for delivering a sustainable, diversified fundraising and marketing strategy. Key areas of responsibility include: Growing major donor and philanthropic income, supported by a dedicated campaign budget. Expanding individual giving, bequests, and regular giving programs. Leading trust and foundation submissions, appeals, and digital fundraising campaigns. Relaunching community, peer-to-peer and third-party fundraising initiatives. Delivering strategic campaigns for flagship programs and research projects. Driving corporate giving and engagement strategies. Building supporter journeys, stewardship frameworks, and impact reporting. Leading a small fundraising and marketing team, and managing external agencies and partners. Skills & Experience The ideal candidate will bring: A proven track record in senior fundraising and marketing leadership Breadth across major donors, trusts and foundations, individual giving, bequests, community fundraising and marketing campaigns. Experience in health, medical research, programs/services or disability sectors highly valued. Strong digital and CRM literacy Strength in relationship management, case for support development, donor stewardship Proven capability in staff management, team development and Board reporting.
