Eureka 89 is the stunning events and dining space on the top floor of Eureka Tower in Melbourne. We host a wide variety of events – corporate lunches, dinners or cocktail parties, media launches, private milestone celebrations and weddings. We also operate a degustation dining room, open to the public throughout the week.

Your Role
You will play an integral role in supporting our business as we continue to share special places and shape lasting memories for our guests. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring exceptional customer experiences across various events and occasions.
About You
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Waiter to join our team at Melbourne Skydeck. You will be responsible for delivering exceptional service to our guests, including welcoming and seating them, taking orders, communicating effectively with the kitchen, memorising menus and making recommendations to upsell appetizers, desserts, and/or drinks.
You will work closely with our event coordinators to ensure seamless execution of events, from weddings to corporate functions. Your flexibility and reliability to work casually across up to seven days a week are essential for this role.
* Excellent customer service and problem-solving skills
* Fine-dining experience advantageous
* Responsible Service of Alcohol (required)
* Sound written communication and presentation skills
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to work as a team player
* Ability to create, develop and service techniques for various customer needs
* Excellent food and beverage knowledge
* Ability to work under pressure, set priorities and provide a high level of customer service
