We are seeking to establish a pool of English Teachers for permanent and fixed term, full-time and part-time vacancies which may arise during the 2026 school year. Appointments may be offered at any time for vacancies that commence during this period.
Note: This position is being advertised as part of a recruitment pilot designed to simplify the application process for teachers. A mandatory CV template is provided for use. Application requirements include character limited responses to address only 2 Australian Institute for Teaching and School Leadership (AITSL) domains at application stage. The remaining AITSL domain will be assessed as part of the further assessment stage, for shortlisted applicants only.

The Role
At Belridge SC, we are seeking English Teachers that share the school values – Commitment towards achieving goals, Respectful in being considerate to one-self and others, Resilient in persevering and facing challenges and Curiosity towards learning.
Suitable applicants should possess outstanding professional knowledge, experience, and expertise of the Western Australian Curriculum within the English department. As English Teachers, you would be expected to use various teaching strategies to plan, assess and deliver engaging content to collaboratively work with students and promote a positive learning environment. In-addition, the desired applicants would strive towards achieving the best educational outcomes for all students such as tailoring and facilitating learning support programs to meet individual students needs to achieve student success.
As English Teachers, you would engage with the College Business Plan and will actively forward whole school priorities. The use of the College's R LEARNERS Teaching & Learning Framework and the Berry Street Education Model are consistently used in lesson planning and programs. Staff at the College are reflective practitioners who engage in classroom observations and Triads to promote good practice.

* consent to a Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check and obtain a current Screening Clearance Number issued by the Department of Education's Screening Unit before you start.
