About the Role
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist the General Manager's Unit in achieving its objectives and actions within the Delivery and Operational Plan.
* Assist with the effective and efficient management of Council's property asset portfolio, leases and licensing.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Tertiary qualifications in Property, Real Estate, Valuation, Land Economics or related disciplines.
* Experience in property management and asset management, including the ability to manage a property portfolio.
* Strong analytical skills with the ability to produce clear, evidence-based reports.
* Demonstrated commercial acumen and negotiating skills.
* Demonstrated knowledge of Council property responsibilities under legislation such as the Local Government Act and the Crown Lands Act.
