Position Information
Sadleir Public School, part of the Liverpool Network in South Western Sydney, offers mainstream classes, a DOE preschool, and a support unit for students with Autism and/or intellectual disabilities. With 353 students from Kindergarten to Year 6, 9% identify as Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander. Eighty‑two percent come from a language background other than English, mainly Arabic, Samoan, and Vietnamese. The school also runs an Arabic Community Language program.

Specific Selection Criteria
- Approval to teach Infants & Primary library or currently undertaking or currently enrolled in Teacher Librarian qualifications approved by the NSW Department of Education.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively manage a primary school library using the Oliver Library Management system, including budget, technology and resource management.
- Demonstrated capacity to lead a agile, innovative and student focused library learning space that promotes a love of literature.
- Highly developed communication, interpersonal and organisational skills with the capacity to work collaboratively and build positive relationships within a diverse school community.
Conditions
An unconditional full approval to teach is a requirement. If you do not hold a full approval to teach with the NSW Department of Education, you are required to commence the application process at the same time as you apply for this teaching opportunity.
