About the Role
As a dedicated Family Violence Case Manager, you will be responsible for managing complex family violence cases. Your duties will include:
* Holding and effectively managing a caseload of family violence cases that require specialist knowledge and skills.
* Providing consultation services to internal and external stakeholders on matters related to family violence case management.
* Conducting comprehensive assessments using established risk assessment frameworks to identify potential risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.
* Working within trauma-informed and culturally responsive practice models to ensure that clients receive sensitive and appropriate support.
* Contributing to ongoing service improvement initiatives and staying up-to-date with best practices in family violence case management.
* Developing a strong understanding of family services and the family violence sector through ongoing education and training.
* Demonstrating solid experience in risk assessment, safety planning, and case management, with a focus on delivering high-quality outcomes for clients.
* Maintaining a commitment to inclusive, client-centred, and culturally safe practice principles in all aspects of your work.
* Fostering effective working relationships with local services and community networks to enhance service delivery and improve outcomes for clients.
