About The Opportunity
* This Allied Health Professional is an integral part of the multidisciplinary health care team providing, planning and delivering comprehensive, high-quality care to clients within the Far West Local Health District (FWLHD) First 2000 Days programs including Sustaining NSW Families, Brighter Beginnings and clinical care from conception to 5 years old.
* The Level 3 Senior Clinical Speech Pathologist is responsible for providing a range of high-level assessment, therapeutic and preventative Speech Pathology services in their identified specialty area, within scope, according to relevant models of care and priorities. The clinician can demonstrate advanced reasoning skills and operate with minimal direct clinical supervision.

How To Apply
To be considered for this position, please ensure you address the selection criteria in the application as thoroughly as possible:
* Holds a tertiary qualification in Speech Pathology and eligibility for membership of Speech Pathology Australia.
* At least 3 years post graduate experience mainly based in Paediatric Speech Pathology caseloads, with a high level of evidence-based practice skills and the ability to manage complex cases.
* Experience in developing and implementing policies and procedures for service improvement, with skills in providing education and training.
* Strong time management skills, written and verbal communication and IT skills including the ability or willingness to use Telehealth as a mode of delivery of clinical care.
* Demonstrated ability to initiate, lead, implement and evaluate quality improvement initiatives, research, and service development processes.
* Demonstrated experience in clinical and team leadership, including experience in staff and student supervision.
* Demonstrated excellence in communication skills including negotiation, decision making, advocacy and the ability to interact constructively and collaboratively with a diverse range of stakeholders.
* Evidence of a Class C drivers licence and willingness to travel for work purposes.
