What you'll need to succeed
You'll be an experienced Interior Designer with a minimum of 5 years' post-grad experience, ideally gained in a leading design or architecture studio, and with exposure to large-scale commercial, civic or public projects. You've contributed meaningfully to projects from concept through to completion, with a particular strength in the
design development and documentation phases. This role leans into the technical delivery of beautifully resolved interiors-a deep knowledge of Revit is essential. You should be confident in producing and coordinating detailed construction documentation, resolving design detailing, and working within complex architectural frameworks.
Your success in this role will rely on a combination of:
* High-level Revit proficiency, including experience in managing drawing sets and working within BIM environments
* Experience with Interior architecture packages including joinery detailing, finishes documentation, and FF&E schedules
* An understanding of BCA, NCC, DDA and other relevant building codes and standards in the Australian context
* Prior work on large-scale or complex commercial/public sector projects such as exhibition centres, universities, hotels or workplace precincts
* A demonstrated ability to work in with architects and consultants to resolve technical issues while upholding the design vision
* Strong time management skills and the ability to work across multiple project stages and deadlines
* Confidence in client-facing presentations and internal design reviews, with excellent verbal and visual communication skills
* A refined design sensibility, ensuring your technical outputs align seamlessly with broader design intent.
