Due to continuous growth of Wagners Construction Materials Laboratory we are seeking an experienced Laboratory Technician to join our team at Wellcamp, Toowoomba.
This will provide a great prospect to expand your skills, knowledge and work with an industry leader.
- Performing sampling of concrete and aggregates to recognised and approved methods
- Performing testing in accordance with Australian Standards and the Queensland Department of Transport and Main Roads test methods
- Organising daily field testing
- Compiling and dispatching records
- Maintain accurate data of records for samples and test results
- Ensuring compliance with project guidelines sampling products and testing/calibrations
- Developing opportunities for improvement and non-conformance reporting requirements
**About you**
- Experience and knowledge in construction materials testing and sampling (essential)
- Cert III or IV in Laboratory Techniques (desirable)
- Strong communication skills communicating with management, customers and team members
- Strong commitment to safety and quality
- Ability to work autonomously and within a team environment
- Ability to prioritise work and work under pressure
- Current Manual Driver’s License (essential)
- Construction card (essential)
