OverviewThe Infrastructure Lifecycle, Planning and Performance branch plays a critical role in ensuring the City's infrastructure is reliable, sustainable and compliant.
The team provides high-level engineering and asset management services that support the operation, maintenance and renewal of essential city assets, ensuring they continue to enhance the Gold Coast way of life.About Your New Role: As a Senior Mechanical Asset Engineer, you will provide specialist technical expertise in the management, operation and renewal of key mechanical systems, including pump stations, wastewater treatment plants and vacuum sewer networks.ResponsibilitiesLead condition assessments, renewal planning and performance monitoring of critical assets.Develop and optimise preventative and predictive maintenance strategies.Provide high-level technical support and troubleshooting to field operations.Manage and enhance the City's vacuum sewer systems, defining KPIs and driving performance improvements.Support the business within the Sewer Pump Station and Sewer Treatment Plant space as required.Support compliance with safety and environmental standards.Contribute to capital planning and deliver asset renewal projects.You'll work closely with asset engineering, environmental, maintenance and operations teams, as well as external contractors, suppliers and regulators.What You'll BringBachelor of Engineering (Mechanical).
Asset Management certification or equivalent knowledge.Reliability Centred Maintenance Engineering certification (or equivalent experience).
Strong asset management and project management skills.Experience with vacuum sewer systems (highly regarded).
