Work across Cairns in a Permanent Part Time role.
Ideal availabilities are from Monday - Friday, between 7am-7pm.
Responsibilities Shift start and client reassignment: Flexible planning is part of the role to accommodate changes in client plans as they arise.
Personal care & medication assistance: Assist clients with bathing, dressing, and morning medication routines as required, in a safe and respectful manner.
Domestic assistance: Tasks include bed making, vacuuming, mopping, ironing, cooking, and cleaning the kitchen and bathroom.
Client interactions: Greet clients warmly, engage in conversation, and support their preferences and routines, including social activities and meals with friends.
Transportation and errands: Travel between client homes for visits and errands such as grocery shopping, while maintaining safety and a positive attitude.
Documentation: Add notes to the client system after each visit using mobile apps to ensure a clear record for subsequent visits.
What You'll Bring Passion for Helping: A genuine interest in supporting clients and improving their lives.
Qualifications: Certificate III in Individual Support, Aged Care, or equivalent.
We also have positions that don't require qualification.
Must-Haves: A driver's license, reliable car, comprehensive insurance, WWCC and First Aid/CPR (or willingness to obtain).
Tech-Friendly: Comfortable using smartphones and tablets.

Hourly Rate: Qualified support worker $33.81 per hour; unqualified support worker $32.74 per hour + 12% superannuation.
Flexible Hours: Preferably Monday to Friday from 8am to 6pm, but flexibility is available.
