As the game of golf continues to grow, we are seeking an elite Commercial Director / Advertising Director to help drive the next phase of growth for the business.
This is not a traditional management role. We are looking for a genuine sales leader, someone who thrives on writing revenue, building commercial partnerships, leading from the front and consistently exceeding targets. You will oversee and mentor the commercial sales team, while also personally driving major revenue opportunities across agency, corporate and direct markets.
The role requires a minimum of 10 years’ experience in advertising sales, media sales or commercial partnerships, with proven success managing high-performing teams and delivering meaningful revenue growth. Existing agency relationships and senior corporate contacts are essential, along with the ability to confidently engage and present at Marketing Director and CMO level.
You will work across one of Australia’s most premium sporting audiences, spanning categories including automotive, travel, luxury, finance, technology, health, property and lifestyle. The successful candidate will understand how to create strategic, integrated commercial solutions that leverage print, digital, video, social media, content and events.
A strong understanding of golf and the golf consumer is highly advantageous, however this role is ultimately about commercial performance, leadership and execution. We are looking for someone who is autonomous, driven, highly organised and energised by hitting targets and growing a business.
