**Salary**:From $104,949 per annum pro rata + 11.5% superannuation
Randwick City Council is an innovative and progressive Council committed to serving our vibrant community on the eastern beaches of Sydney. Our Integrated Transport team is seeking a Sustainable Transport Officer until June 2026.
**Purpose**:
To efficiently and effectively deal with all matters relating to, or arising from sustainable / active transport issues, for the City of Randwick; particularly including assistance with the planning and delivery of TfNSW funded sustainable transport projects; up to June 2026.
**About the role**:
- To assist Council with the development and review of policies, strategies and research relating to sustainable transport
- To ensure that all sustainable / active transport issues are dealt with efficiently and effectively and in accordance with Council policies, procedures, appropriate guidelines and all legislative requirements.
- Engage appropriate consultants to undertake required evaluation, concept design and detailed construction design of a number of externally funded sustainable transport projects
**About you**:
- Tertiary qualifications in either Engineering (ideally with a Traffic/Transport major), or Town / Urban Planning / Landscape Architecture, or having extensive equivalent experience in this field.
- Knowledge and experience in the use of relevant Transport for NSW manuals and guidelines, Austroads guidelines and Australian Standards, or other similar design guidelines
- Experience in the delivery of high-quality transport projects, within the context of quality urban design and within the principles of sustainability.
