The values that underpin our company culture are the drivers of our ongoing success: Agile Solution focused Respect for all people Integrity in the way we operate Description What you will do in the role Working across Australia, the Azure Sales Specialist will maximise partner net new opportunity and revenue generation by representing Dicker Data & Microsoft in all activities associated with partner recruitment, partner business development, partner sales and partner support with the primary responsibility to help grow consumption revenue. The individual will support both existing partners to drive growth revenue as well as recruit, manage and develop a set of high-potential partners to drive new business and commitment to the Azure platform. Goals and Objectives Responsible for developing new or existing partners and strengthening relationships to drive commitment to Azure consumption and growth. Manage a territory and all activities associated with partner recruitment, opportunity identification, business development, pipeline management, portfolio planning and forecasting. Primary relationship owner with partners for the Azure platform, set activity targets including revenue and competency; and maintain relationships with sales, marketing and senior business contacts Define a strategy to help accelerate new partners and customers into cloud as well as expanding footprints and exploring next logical workload within targeted customers and partners. Ability to define and demonstrate expertise in both the business outcomes and technology aspects of defined sales plays. Achieve assigned revenue and Usage/Consumption Azure targets across the region and drive the team and individual targets Conduct regular pipeline management, portfolio planning, sales coaching, forecasting and Business reviews with strategic and relevant Organise business planning and execution (including marketing, sales skills, development, product, services and customer territory planning) to achieve set objectives Increase partners Microsoft sales & delivery workforce through sales, presales & technical certifications Ability to work with partners and drive joint business for Dicker Data and the Microsoft BU. Drive sales execution through partner by enabling and influencing. Maintain a high level of relevant domain knowledge around Microsoft solutions eg M365 & D365) in order to have meaningful conversations with prospects. Skills And Experiences What you will need to succeed in the role Skills and Competencies Strong customer and partner-centric mindset with excellent relationship management skills Strategic thinking with the ability to drive alignment between technical initiatives and business outcomes Excellent organizational and project management capabilities, with a focus on delivering results Strong business acumen with a keen focus on profitability, growth, and achieving KPIs Requirements Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience 8-10 years prior territory sales or channel sales experience in a high tech field in a direct or indirect sales environment with a demonstrated track record of success in channel sales as well as driving customer and partner adoption of technology.
