About The Role
This fixed term part‐time position (15 hours per week) is available until 30 June 2027 and is located in Queanbeyan. The role will enable you to work within the Alcohol and Other Drugs (AOD) team to provide open, appropriate and effective support to consumers to improve outcomes and reduce harm associated with drug and alcohol use. You will deliver practical support focusing on the development of decision‐making skills, social participation, independent living, healthy lifestyle, community access and building self‐identity and resilience skills.

Provide experienced case management and collaborate with consumers to create comprehensive treatment support and exit plans.

Skills & Experience
* Qualification (or currently studying) in mental health, health or community/social services discipline (minimum Certificate IV), and/or Certificate IV in Alcohol and Other Drug Work or equivalent, or willingness to obtain
* Demonstrated experience in working with people who live with AOD difficulties
* Demonstrated commitment to working from a recovery orientation, in line with the National Framework for Recovery Oriented Mental Health Services
* Knowledge and understanding of the principles of harm minimisation and recovery focused support gained through education and/or training
* Experience providing case management and working collaboratively with consumers to create comprehensive treatment support and exit plans
