Centralian Cleaning Services is a locally owned and growing commercial cleaning company servicing Alice Springs and remote NT locations. We are seeking a reliable and organised Casual Storeperson to support our operations team by managing stock, preparing kits for jobs, and keeping our storeroom running smoothly.
Role Details
* 6 hours per week
* 2 hours on Monday, Tuesday and Friday
* Preferred hours: 3:00pm – 5:00pm
* (some flexibility available around these times)
* Ideal for someone looking for stable, low-hour casual work with consistent weekly shifts.
Key Duties
* Receive, check and record incoming stock
* Pick, pack and issue chemicals, consumables and equipment for cleaners
* Monitor stock levels and notify management when reordering is required
* Maintain a clean and organised storeroom
* Assist with basic equipment maintenance and tagging
* Prepare cleaning kits for new jobs and remote deployments
* General warehouse tidying, waste disposal and stock rotation
* Vehicle cleaning and restocking
What We're Looking For
* Strong organisational skills — able to maintain an orderly storeroom and keep accurate stock records
* Good spoken and written English, and able to read safety labels and basic chemical-handling instructions
* Good attention to detail and reliability
* Physically capable of lifting up to 20kg safely
* Positive attitude, able to work independently
* Basic computer skills
* Driver's licence preferred but not essential
Job Type: Casual
Pay: $33.13 per hour
Expected hours: 6 per week
