Job Description
This senior accountant position involves working closely with managers and directors to deliver quality accounting, tax, and business advice to clients. You will be responsible for autonomously preparing and reviewing financial statements, budgets, and management accounts, as well as providing guidance and coaching to junior team members.
* Preparation and review of individual, company, trust, and partnership financial statements and tax returns.
* Preparation of budgets, management accounts, and cash flow forecasts across various entity structures and industries.
* Maintenance of client accounting and reporting systems using Xero and MYOB.
* Assistance with the development and growth of junior team members.
Required Skills and Qualifications
The successful candidate will possess a strong technical accounting background, relevant tertiary qualifications, and experience within a public practice accounting firm. A CA or CPA qualification is essential, and ideal candidates will also have solid taxation knowledge.
