Your Opportunity:You will work under the guidance of Physiotherapists and Occupational Therapists to deliver high-quality clinical services to clients in Residential Aged Care (RAC) Settings. As an Allied Health Assistant, your role includes both clinical and administrative duties.You will participate in an innovative approach to providing allied health services through our award-winning (2023 Allied Health Award for Innovative Product Excellence) Plena Care Pathway. This program allows therapists to customize therapy plans based on resident goals and priorities, delivering evidence-based mobility and functional programs, care plan reviews, one-on-one therapy, and group active aging services.Your responsibilities include:Assisting in delivering physiotherapy services following Plena Healthcare's procedures and policies.Servicing RAC clients according to treatment plans prepared by Allied Health Professionals.Transporting residents to and from therapy sessions or appointments, under supervision.Setting up and cleaning the physiotherapy gym and equipment.Handling referrals and administrative tasks as directed by physiotherapists.Ordering prescribed equipment.Leading exercise groups and programs.Supporting initiatives to meet client and contract expectations.Consulting with physiotherapists or occupational therapists regarding treatment plan modifications and progress.Participating in mentoring, supervision, and performance reviews as per company policies.Your Career with Plena:We value work/life balance and support our team to enrich clients' lives through a supportive and industry-leading program.
